The Lutyens’ Bungalow Zone (LBZ) needs no introduction. The area has a ‘celebrity’ status in the real estate industry. Spanning central New Delhi, LBZ is among the world’s most exclusive residential districts which is named after British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. He was the brain behind much of New Delhi design in the early 20th century. Owning a home here is a status symbol. Though most residences here were allotted to government officials earlier, over the past few decades many famous Indian industrialists and entrepreneurs have acquired homes here. Some prominent names include, Gautam Adani, Lakshmi Mittal and Naveen Jindal, among others.

The Lutyens’ Bungalow Zone demands such high rates because of its land scarcity, golden history, and proximity to India’s power centers. As per recent market movements, the LBZ has become one of India’s most prized real estate markets.

Below is a look at seven such Indian billionaires who call Lutyens’ Delhi their home.
