India’s historic win against New Zealand in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup filled the nation with joy, and fireworks brightened the skies in celebration. Amitabh Bachchan’s hilarious post

Taking to social media, Amitabh shared his reaction to India’s big win, humorously writing, “कहा था नहीं देखूँगा तो जीत जाएँगे! हो गया!” which means, “I had said that if I don’t watch, they will win — and it happened!”

Along with Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan too expressed his admiration for Team India’s brilliant show on the field. Posting on his X handle, the superstar wrote, “What a comprehensive victory!! Well done to our men in blue!!! You guys are champions and watching you on the field has made us all very proud. Take a bow. Jai Hind!”.

India’s dominant performance in the final

India’s victory came after a great match against New Zealand in the T20 World Cup final at the full Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In front of more than 1,20,000 people, the Indian team batted amazingly, scoring 255/5 in 20 overs, the highest score ever in a T20 World Cup final. Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, and Ishan Kishan played important innings that helped India set a tough target for New Zealand.
