The Oscars added a new list of presenters ahead of Sunday’s 98th annual Academy Awards.On Thursday, the Academy announced a new lineup of stars set to join the glittery list of presenters for the show. Interestingly, the list teased some epic reunions on the big stage. It’ll be big year for Pullmans at the Oscars. The show’s producers said that Bill Pullman and his son Lewis Pullman have joined the starry roster of presenters for Sunday’s live broadcast. Former ‘Moulin Rouge!’ co-stars Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor joined the list with a host of other stars including nominees Rose Byrne, Wagner Moura and Delroy Lindo. The list includes former Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel, as well as Pedro Pascal, Channing Tatum and Sigourney Weaver.

Oscars producers confirmed that audiences should expect even more stars than have been announced. Showrunner and executive producer Raj Kapoor said the list is “jaw-dropping” and there will be plenty of surprises throughout the evening, including reunions and some appearances by people who haven’t been on the stage in a long time. As per a report on The Hollywood Reporter, Kapoor and fellow telecast executive producer Katy Mullan, confirmed that a ‘Bridesmaids’ reunion will take place during the ceremony, and teased an epic Marvel reunion as well. Mullan shared, “There’s also going to be a Marvel reunion for the superhero fans. So we’re gonna have superstar superheroes, and there is also going to be an extraterrestrial on the stage. So you can figure that one out.“So far, actors Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr, Zoe Saldana and Gwyneth Paltrow, known for their work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, have been confirmed as presenters at the show.

Last year’s best actor winners including Adrien Brody and Mikey Madison and supporting actor winners Kieran Culkin and Zoe Saldana will hand out trophies at the show, as will the likes of Javier Bardem, Maya Rudolph, Chase Infiniti, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Anne Hathaway, Will Arnett, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Paul Mescal.

The deaths of many beloved figures in the film world over the past year have hit hard, including Robert Redford, Diane Keaton, Rob Reiner, Catherine O’Hara, Robert Duvall, Val Kilmer, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, James Van Der Beek and Claudia Cardinale, just to name a few.“It has been a really, really tough year this year, so the In Memoriam has been something we’ve been talking about for many, many months,” said Mullan to THR.Last year, Morgan Freeman took the stage to honor Gene Hackman, who had been found dead just days earlier, and others. This year, there have been rumors about Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal joining forces for Reiner, but the organizers are neither confirming nor denying that reunion.“Obviously we’re paying special attention to the in memoriam this year. It’s going to be robust and beautiful and very, very moving,” Academy CEO Bill Kramer said. “We won’t give away any secrets. For months, “One Battle After Another” has been the clear front-runner for best picture and best director but, in the past week, it’s looking like it might be in for a closer race in a showdown with “Sinners.” “Sinners” is this year’s leading nominee, breaking the record for most nominations by a single film with 16. Associated Press Film Writers Jake Coyle and Lindsey Bahr predict that “One Battle After Another” will still take best picture and best director. They also think Buckley will win best actress, Jordan will get best actor and Taylor supporting actress, but they’re split on supporting actor: Coyle thinks it will go to Penn; Bahr is staking her bet on Lindo.
