I’m taking shots for no reason.” The cold open began with cast members Mikey Day, Ashley Padilla, Marcello Hernández and Sarah Sherman playing a family on a road trip, frustrated as they watched fuel prices climb. The scene was quickly interrupted by James Austin Johnson portraying Trump, who launched into a monologue poking fun at his campaign promises. “You might remember me from such campaign promises as lower gas prices and no more wars,” Johnson’s Trump joked. “But now gas costs like a million billion dollars a gallon.”Later in the segmenet, Colin Jost returned as secretary of war Pete Hegseth, who said, “I’ll tell you the same thing I say when people ask about our plans for Iran: I don’t know,” and “You babies in the media are completely unpatriotic.
