Dubai Airports update 23 March: Air India group to operate 30 flights; IndiGo warns of “changes at short notice due to the evolving situation in the Middle East”

Flight operations at Dubai International Airport (DBX) and other UAE airports remain functional amid rising regional tensions in the Middle East. Though flights are operating at limited schedules, passengers are advised to stay updated through official airline channels. Meanwhile Indian airlines including Air India and IndiGo have issued fresh travel updates.IndiGo Travel Advisory as of 23 MarchIndiGo released a fresh advisory on X and stated about the high possibility of last-minute operational changes given the current airspace restrictions and regional situation. The airline confirmed that select flights are scheduled to operate on 23 March. Passengers travelling to or from Dubai and other West Asian regions are recommended to check their flight status before leaving to the airport. The airline took to X and wrote,“1) The flights mentioned in the table below are scheduled to operate on 23 March 2026.

2) Please check your flight status at http://bit.ly/31paVKQ before leaving for the airport.3) Notifications are being shared on registered contact details for timely updates.4) A specialised desk at our contact center is available to assist with any queries or support you may require.Our teams continue to closely monitor the situation and are working in coordination with the relevant authorities to ensure a safe and seamless journey.”Air India and Air India Express Air India and Air India Express have confirmed to operate a total of 30 scheduled and non-scheduled flights between India and West Asia on 23 March.#ImportantUpdate Air India and Air India Express will together operate 30 scheduled and non-scheduled flights, to and from the West Asia region on 23 March 2026.These services will connect all major Indian cities with Dubai and other destinations in the Gulf. The airlines are running these services for essential travel and repatriation. It’s an ongoing effort by Indian airlines to maintain connectivity amid the ongoing situation.Dubai International Airport (DBX) is among the busiest aviation hubs in the world. The airport is operating with partial disruption though not fully functional. The airports and airlines are frequently adjusting time, routes and schedules as safety of passengers and crew remains the priority.Meanwhile travellers are advised to: Arrive early Rely on official airline websitesDo not travel to the airport if there’s no confirm ticketCheck flight status before departureBe ready for delays and extra security checks
