10 heat-tolerant plants that thrive in Indian summers

Indian summers can be quite harsh, with temperatures crossing the 40°C mark quite often. For someone who wants to keep a garden on the balcony or the terrace, it can feel like a constant battle against the scorching sun.

However, not all plants face the same problem. There are some plants that can survive with minimal maintenance and can look quite fresh and beautiful in your garden.

Heat-resistant plants are built to withstand such conditions. Some of these plants need little water, are resistant to drought, and can withstand direct sunlight. This makes them ideal for use on balconies, terraces, and small gardens where shade may be limited.
