1. Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

The temple, which was constructed in 1900 by Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, is devoted to Lord Hanuman, who is believed to remove the problems of his followers. It is an old temple and has a deep connection to the renowned Indian sage Tulsidas, who wrote the Ramcharitmanas and is believed to have visited Varanasi.

2. Hanuman Garhi, located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India

Hanuman Gadhi temple is situated in Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh). The is the most revered temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The temple is believed to be built by the saint Baba Bhagwan Das in 10th century. This temple has magnificent architecture adorned with intricate carvings. Devotees who visit this temple are believed to be protected from all types of sufferings by Lord Hanuman himself. A large number of pilgrims are drawn to the shrine.

3. The Prachin Hanuman Mandir in New Delhi, India’s Connaught Place

It is believed to have been founded around the Mahabharata era, making it one of Delhi’s earliest Hanuman temples. The Pandavas are believed to have worshipped Lord Hanuman at the temple. It is particularly busy on Hanuman Jayanti and Maha Shivaratri, and it is well known for giving worshipers serenity and wealth.

4. Jakhu Temple (Himachal Pradesh)

It’s amazing to see how the Himachal temples relate to the mythological epics of the Ramayana and Mahabharata. One such shrine is Jakhoo Temple. The Ramayana states that when Lord Hanuman was looking for the Sanjivni Booti for Lakshmana, he took a break at this hill to rest. Because of this incident, pilgrims and tourists place a high value on the temple at Jakhoo Hill. The 108, foot tall statue of Hanuman is one of the tallest in the world.

5. Anjaneyar Temple in Namakkal (Tamil Nadu)

Namakkal Anjaneyar Temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The temple is well-known for its potent statue of Hanuman, who is believed to bestow strength and fortune to the believers of Lord Hanuman. It is believed to be a swayambhu idol that is present there. It is constructed in the Dravidian style of architecture. Anjaneyar is one of the tallest Hanuman images in India, standing 18 feet (5.5 meters) tall. The temple is more than 1500 years old. Lord Hanuman came here to serve Lord Narasimha.

6. Temple of Salasar Balaji (Salasar, Rajasthan, India)

The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and named as Salasar Balaji. It was founded in the eighteenth century and is well-known for the statue of Hanuman, who is believed to have manifested himself. Thousands of devotees visit the temple, particularly on Hanuman Jayanti. A farmer found the idol in Asota village, Nagaur, in 1754. Lord Hanuman bless the devotees who visit this place with devotion and fulfill all their desired wishes.
