The 40-year-old singer abruptly cancelled her final scheduled concert in Montreal on April 6, 2026, which was part of her ongoing Mayhem Ball Tour.Gaga shared the news herself on Instagram Stories that night. “I’m so sorry to share that I’m unable to perform tonight and have to cancel the show,” the ‘Abracadabra’ singer wrote. “I’ve been fighting a respiratory infection for the past few days and doing everything I can to rest and recover, but it’s gotten worse,” she continued, adding, “My doctor has strongly advised me not to perform today and to be honest, I don’t think I could give you the quality of a performance today that you deserve.“She didn’t sugarcoat her disappointment, either. “I know how deeply disappointing this is, and I truly could not feel worse about letting you down,” Gaga wrote, adding, “I’m so sorry to everyone who made plans to be there and support me. Being in Montreal and performing for you on Thursday and Friday was magical and deeply meaningful. To everyone who was coming tonight, I’m absolutely heartbroken and so sorry.”For the unversed, Gaga had already played two packed shows in Montreal just days earlier (on April 2 and 3) as part of her ‘Mayhem Ball Tour’. There are only three more stops left: two in Saint Paul and the big Madison Square Garden show in New York on April 13. The ‘Mayhem Ball Tour’ itself has been a winding road, with dates getting shuffled and new cities added since she first kicked things off in February.
