Delhi Capitals pulled off a stunning last-over victory against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, with David Miller once again proving why he is regarded as one of the finest finishers in world cricket.Chasing a competitive total of 176, DC held their nerve in the closing stages as Miller unleashed a brutal assault in the final over, turning the game decisively in his team’s favour. Stubbs, who played a crucial role in guiding the chase alongside Miller he scored 60 runs, admitted that even he wasn’t sure how the equation would be cracked in the final moments. However, having Miller at the crease provided a sense of assurance.Player of the Match Tristan Stubbs was full of praise for his compatriot, highlighting Miller’s calmness and experience in high-pressure situations.“Yeah, I kept thinking three sixes and we’re straight back in it. And they bowled their guns out quite early. So then I always thought, worst case, the last over we can get whatever we need. But I didn’t want to take it to the last over. But thankfully we got over the line. I said to him (Miller), I knew we were going to do it. I didn’t know how. So thankfully, David Miller was on the other end. And that’s him, that’s his bread and butter,” Stubbs said after the match.Match Summary: RCB vs DCDelhi Capitals pulled off a thrilling six-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, with KL Rahul leading the charge in a tricky chase of 176. DC were rocked early at 18/3 inside three overs, courtesy of a brilliant spell from Bhuvneshwar Kumar. However, Rahul steadied the innings with a composed 57 off 34 balls, anchoring the chase under pressure. He found strong support from Tristan Stubbs, who smashed an unbeaten 60, while David Miller provided the finishing touch with a quickfire 22*, including two crucial sixes in the final over to seal the game.Earlier, RCB posted 175/8 after a solid start from Phil Salt (63) and Virat Kohli (19). But Delhi’s spinners, led by Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav, triggered a middle-order collapse, restricting RCB to a below-par total. Despite a late scare, DC chased down the target with a ball to spare, ending RCB’s five-match winning streak at home and breaching their fortress in a high-pressure encounter.
