‘Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros’ continues its impressive box office journey. The Malayalam comedy has crossed significant milestones even on Day 22.As the film had it’s Telugu release on this day, the ‘Peddi’ star Ram Charan has extended his support for ‘Vaazha 2’ team.
Box office collection update for Hashir’s film
According to the Sacnilk website, ‘Vaazha 2’ collected Rs 1.25 Cr net on Day 22. This figure shows a 19.4% drop from the previous day’s Rs 1.55 Cr. The film recorded this collection across 971 shows. It has now reached a total India net of Rs 113.80 Cr and India gross of Rs 131.58 Cr.Overseas markets added Rs 15 lakhs on Day 22. This takes the total overseas gross to Rs 83.85 Cr. The worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 215.43 Cr.The overall occupancy for ‘Vaazha 2’ on Day 22 stood at 19.31%. Morning shows recorded 7.92% while afternoon shows managed 11.50%. Evening occupancy was 19.50% and night shows reached 27.83%.
Ram Charan extends support
At the time of its Telugu release, Ram Charan shared a picture with the team on social media. He wrote, “Had a great time catching up with the team of Vaazha 2. A film that turned into a massive blockbuster in Malayalam is now set to arrive for the Telugu audience. Glad to see Sahu Garapati and Archana bringing this film to a wider audience. Wishing the driving force behind it, Vipin Das, director Savin SA, and the young team all the very best.”Paid premiere screenings took place a day earlier in centres including Hyderabad.
