After spending considerable time at the crease in taxing conditions, the physical strain, combined with the intense Jaipur heat, seemed to take a toll on the young batter.Before the injury scare, Sooryavanshi had delivered a breathtaking knock, smashing 103 off just 37 balls, including 12 sixes and five fours at a staggering strike rate of 278.38, one of the most explosive innings of IPL 2026.Providing an update, RR batting coach Vikram Rathour downplayed the severity of the issue:“He was feeling something on his hamstring, but now he’s looking okay. He has been treated and is doing fine. We’ll know more in a day or so, but it doesn’t look anything serious,” Vikram confirmed.Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad pulled off a stunning chase of 229 to defeat Rajasthan Royals by five wickets, powered by a destructive 132-run stand between Abhishek Sharma (57 off 29) and Ishan Kishan (74 off 31). Both batters reached their fifties in just 24 balls, making a mockery of the steep target despite a couple of dropped chances early in the innings.Even after both were dismissed, contributions from Heinrich Klaasen (29) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (36*) ensured SRH completed the chase with nine balls to spare.Earlier, 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi stole the show with a breathtaking 103 off 37 balls, supported by Dhruv Jurel (51).
