NEW DELHI:Ishan Kishan once again proved why he loves batting against Royal Challengers Bengaluru as the explosive Sunrisers Hyderabad left-hander continued his remarkable run against the defending champions during their IPL 2026 clash at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Friday.Kishan smashed a superb 79 off 46 balls and registered his fourth consecutive 50-plus score against RCB in IPL history. The knock further highlighted his dominance over Bengaluru’s bowling attack across multiple seasons. Only two players now stand alongside or ahead of Kishan in the list of most consecutive 50-plus scores against RCB in IPL history. Former David Warner opener tops the chart with seven successive 50-plus scores against RCB between 2014 and 2016 – a record built during his peak years with Sunrisers Hyderabad. Former Kane Williamson captain had also scored four consecutive 50-plus scores against RCB from 2016 to 2019. Kishan has now matched Williamson’s feat, achieving it between 2024 and 2026.
