The 26-year-old left-arm pacer bowled confidently and picked up his maiden IPL wicket by dismissing Prabhsimran Singh with a brilliant yorker. He finished with figures of 4-0-36-1 and was Lucknow’s most economical bowler in the match.His performance also brought an emotional reaction from father Sachin Tendulkar, who rarely posts publicly about his son’s cricket journey. Pant dropped a catch off Arjun’s bowling early on, which proved costly as Prabhsimran went on to score 69 runs. Still, the youngster stayed calm and continued bowling with confidence.Sachin’s message struck a chord with fans because he rarely comments on Arjun’s career publicly.
