Pluto Turns Direct in Aquarius: These 4 Zodiac Signs May Finally Break a Pattern That Has Held Them Back

On October 15, Pluto’s direct movement in Aquarius signals a transformative moment after a lengthy retrograde phase. This shift inspires individuals to tackle unresolved issues and breathe new life into stalled plans. Those influenced by Aquarius and Leo may notice changes in their relationships, fostering clearer interactions. Additionally, Venus’s retrograde in Scorpio introduces tension in personal relationships, while Mercury’s retrograde beginning on October 24 necessitates caution in communication and contracts.

Pluto stops its backward motion on October 15 and starts moving forward again in Aquarius. It has been retrograde since early May. During those months, old fears came back, plans stalled, and some arrangements that felt settled began to wobble. Now that pressure turns toward the future. For some people, it will show up as a decision they have been putting off. For others, a long delay at work or at home may finally clear. Aquarius, Leo, Taurus and Scorpio sit closest to this change.

Pluto Ends Its Retrograde in Aquarius

Pluto turned retrograde in Aquarius in early May 2026 and has spent the months since moving back through the sign’s early degrees. On October 15 it stations direct. In astrology, Pluto rules deep change, power, and anything a person holds on to after it stops working. Aquarius is linked to friendships, groups, technology and long-term goals. So the direct station tends to show up first in these areas. One example is a team project that has made no progress since summer. Another is a friendship where one person has been doing all the work for months. But Pluto is the slowest planet astrologers use. Around a station it hardly changes degree for several days, and this window is treated as the strongest part of the cycle. Choices made this week tend to last. Small ones count too.Pluto will stay in Aquarius into the early 2040s. Because of that long stay, this direct station is one step in a slow process, and what it sets in motion usually builds quietly over the coming year. Notice which issue comes back around October 15. It is often the one that is ready to be settled.

Aquarius and Leo Feel the Axis Turn

Pluto is in Aquarius, so the shift is personal for this sign. Many Aquarius natives have spent the retrograde questioning their health habits and the way others see them. A common pattern is agreeing to every request and then feeling worn out by Friday. That pattern is easier to break now. Start with one firm refusal this week, even if it feels awkward.Leo sits opposite Aquarius, so Pluto moves through the seventh house of partners and contracts for this sign. The old pattern here usually involves one person holding too much control in a relationship or a deal. A business partner may keep missing agreed payments. A spouse may make every money decision without asking. And the direct motion gives Leo the steadiness to raise these issues without drama. Ask for a clear conversation at a fixed time. Then put whatever is agreed in writing, even with family. A short shared note on the phone is enough.

Venus Retrograde in Scorpio Squares Pluto

Venus has been retrograde in Scorpio since October 3. Scorpio is square to Aquarius, so Venus is now in a tense square with Pluto. The pressure is strongest for the two signs on the Taurus and Scorpio axis.In Western astrology, Pluto rules Scorpio, and right now Venus is moving backwards through the sign. That combination can bring old jealousy or guilt to the surface. A fear of losing someone may also return. For Scorpio, the pattern that can break now is staying quiet. Many Scorpio natives keep their feelings to themselves until those feelings harden into resentment. Say the uncomfortable thing early, while it is still small. One honest message can save weeks of strain at home.Venus rules Taurus, so its retrograde affects Taurus directly. Pluto in Aquarius falls in the tenth house of career for Taurus, and work has felt heavy since May. Some Taurus natives have watched a manager keep changing targets. For others, a promised raise never arrived. So this is the time for Taurus to look at what it has quietly accepted for too long. Decide whether to ask again or start looking elsewhere. While Venus is retrograde, avoid resigning in anger. Prepare the case on paper first, with dates and figures.

Mercury in Scorpio Before Its October 24 Retrograde

Mercury is in Scorpio and turns retrograde on October 24. Talks that are already underway have a better chance of finishing in the next ten days than after that date. Pluto direct supports forward action. Mercury nearing its station calls for care with the fine print.Read contracts twice before signing. Confirm travel bookings and back up important files tonight. A small error made this week can come back during the retrograde as a refund that never arrives or a lost document at the bank counter. Keep all receipts in one folder until mid-November.These two planets together suit anyone who wants to end a long habit without fuss. Close a dormant account that still charges a yearly fee. Or return the call that has been pending since July.
