Kim Taehyung, popularly known as V of BTS, is set to make his acting return after his long awaited comeback to the stage with his album ‘ARIRANG’. On Wednesday, a poster featuring the star in a school uniform, sitting in a front-row bench alongside a female classmate, was released online. the short will reportedly be titled ‘That Night, Our Decaf’.

A teaser for the short film was also unveiled online. Contrary to the poster, the clip featured Taehyung ordering a coffee late night at a coffee shop. While he is awaiting his order, a woman arrives behind him and places the same order. He then stares at her in disbelief. The post was accompanied with the caption, “That night, our own story begins.”

The short film is part of Taehyung’s ongoing collaboration with Compose Coffee, following his appointment as the brand’s ambassador in 2024.
About the short film
According to reports, ‘That Night, Our Decaf’ will explore the story of two students whose lives become intertwined after an unexpected late-night encounter over a cup of decaf coffee. The narrative is expected to delve into themes of secrecy, emotional tension and unspoken feelings as their connection develops.
BTS set for ARIRANG tour
Prior to hitting the stage with the launch of ‘ARIRANG’, V was spotted filming portions of the short film at a public school, prompting buzz about his next venture. At the time, fans wondered if the star was shooting for a music video that reminisced school days or if he was working on a secret film project. BTS launched ‘ARIRANG’ last month and the album has been on a record-breaking spree ever since. Ahead of their world tour, RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jung Kook and j-hope have been induljing ARMY with cool music videos, choreography clips and appearances on various American chat shows to promote their new album.
