It aims to cover medical bills and secure the future for his daughters, Billie Beatrice, 15, and Georgia Geraldine, 14, whom he shared with ex-wife Rebecca Gayheart. As of February 21, the campaign had raised over USD 200,000 toward its USD 250,000 goal, with Levinson’s contribution standing out as one of the largest.Friends of Eric Dane wrote on the GoFundMe page, “After his diagnosis, Eric became a fervent advocate for the ALS community, utilizing his voice and platform to support fellow patients and raise awareness. A tribute to a friend
Sam Levinson shared his grief publicly soon after the news broke. “I’m heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend Eric,” he said, according to Deadline. “Working with him was an honor. Being his friend was a gift. Eric’s family is in our prayers. At a December panel hosted by I Am ALS, Eric Dane reflected, “It is imperative that I share my journey with as many people as I can because I don’t feel like my life is about me anymore. I’m fairly limited in what I can do physically as an actor, but I still have my brain, and I still have my speech, so I’m willing to just do about anything.”
