Gulf Air has opened passenger registration for a limited number of special flights operating from Saudi Arabia’s Dammam as the temporary closure of Bahrain’s airspace continues to disrupt normal operations. In an update shared with travellers, the Bahraini national carrier said it will operate daily return flights from King Fahad International Airport in Dammam starting March 11, 2026, connecting passengers to London, Mumbai, and Bangkok. The flights are intended to support travellers who need to return home during the ongoing airspace restrictions.

Gulf Air has also advised travellers not to proceed to the airport until their booking has been confirmed.
