Nithya Menen, a celebrated actress across South Indian cinema, cherishes her upbringing in Bengaluru, describing it as a place of immense warmth and happiness. Nithya Menen resides in a home in Bengaluru, Karnataka, where she grew up. She frequently shares small glimpses of her house on social media and in one video, she showed the peaceful surroundings and wrote, “July at home in Bangalore and I rarely get to be here for it . Her connection with Bangalore

Nithya Menen considers Bengaluru her true home. In an earlier interview with India Today, she said, “Malayalam is my mother tongue. So that has a different space. But, home will always be Bangalore. And if anyone was born in Bangalore which was there in the 90s, was an extraordinary place. It still is a magnificent place.” She was raised and educated in the city, which clearly holds a special place in her heart.

The actress was born in Bangalore to Sukumar and Nalini, with grandparents who were Malayalis from Kerala. The ‘Mersal’ actress completed her schooling at Poorna Prajna School and Mount Carmel College in Bengaluru before pursuing journalism from Manipal Academy of Higher Education as reported by News 18.

Recent work and career

Nithya Menen has appeared in over 60 films across multiple languages. She started as a child artist and gained recognition with ‘Ala Modalaindi’ in 2011 and it won her the Nandi Award for Best Actress.Nithya Menen has been part of several superhit films including ‘Mersal’, ‘O Kadhal Kanmani’, ‘Thiruchtrambalam’, ‘Bangalore Days’, and many more.
