While discussing the show with Yahoo Canada, actor Chad Michael Murray addressed the departure of his co-star, Scott Patterson. The famed actor shared that one should view the show as a separate entity and that even though Patterson will be missed, the show will go on regardless. He added, “What is the show? Where does it sit? And how do you hold it up and keep it true to itself?’ And that’s all on the text and the storytelling. There’s no question in my mind that we did that. The show stays totally true to itself.”The show is about to welcome its fourth season. While it was stated that Patterson’s character had gone to Ireland in the 3rd season, Roma Roth, the show’s creator, stated that he may return. Entertainment Weekly was the first to report on the matter.
