You often have multiple thoughts about work, responsibilities and unfulfilled duties that make you feel stressed and imagine if you do some kind of rituals that make you feel good, relaxed, peaceful and calm then what will you do? definitely you will not skip those daily rituals because ultimately everyone is searching for peace in life. 1. Wash your feet before going to bed

According to Vedic culture, it is very important to wash your feet before going to bed. It is believed that your feet can hold the negative energy and when you go to bed without washing them, it brings negativity and this disturb your energy so that’s why your feet should be washed before sleeping.

2. Practice gratitude before sleep

One of the most powerful ways to calm your mind is showing gratitude before sleeping. Your mind should be calm while sleeping and if you really want a good sleep then you should practice gratitude to the supreme power. Say few powerful affirmations and say thank you to your God, who supports you in everything you do in life. You must express your gratitude to the divine power, who encourages you to move forward in life with positivity.

3. Chant calming mantras

Your moon should be aligned at night that means your thoughts and emotions should be under control and if you think you can’t get a good sleep at night then you should chant Lord Shiva mantras and Lord Vishnu mantras. You can chant either panchakshari mantra, maha mrityunjaya mantra and hare krishna maha mantra. This will control your mind and reduce stress. When your repeat this sacred ritual daily then you will feel the positive changes in your life.

4. 10 Minutes meditation

Yes, 10 minutes of daily meditation is enough at night. You just need to sit at a quiet place, sit in a Sukhasana and do deep breathing for few minutes or you can just chant ‘OM’ for 21 times and allow your thoughts to gradually slow down. This short period of silence will reset your energy and prepare you for better sleep.

5. Read holy scripture

You are advised to read a sacred scripture before going to bed as this will bring peace to your mind and make your feel energised and positive. You can read sacred scriptures such as Bhagavad Gita, Ramacharitmanas and Sundarkand as they will remove all the negative energies from your surroundings and encourage you to move forward in life with an optimistic attitude.

6. Chant Hanuman Chalisa

This is one of the most powerful hymns or prayers. You are advised to chant Hanuman Chalisa daily before sleeping as it is believed to ward off evil spirits and negative energies. This will boost your self confidence and reduce stress and overthinking. This daily ritual can remove all the fear, anxiety and stress from your life.
