The UAE’s national carrier Etihad Airways has released its updated flight schedule for March 10, 2026, as part of the airline’s phased resumption of limited commercial operations from Abu Dhabi. The airline said it will operate flights to several key destinations, with services carefully coordinated to meet safety and operational requirements amid ongoing regional airspace disruptions.

Limited operations continue

According to the airline, the updated schedule forms part of Etihad’s gradual return to operations after recent aviation disruptions across the Middle East.Passengers who already hold confirmed bookings will be accommodated on the scheduled flights, while new tickets are also available for purchase through the airline’s official website.However, the airline emphasised that travellers should not go to the airport unless they have been contacted directly by Etihad or hold a confirmed booking for one of the operating flights.

Flights subject to operational approvals

Etihad said all services remain subject to operational approvals and may be adjusted depending on regional airspace conditions.The airline continues to monitor the situation closely and will operate flights only when all safety criteria have been satisfied.Affected passengers will receive direct communication from the airline confirming the status of their flight and outlining available options.

Advice for affected passengers

Travellers whose journeys have been impacted are encouraged to take the following steps:Check flight status on etihad.com before travelling to the airportEnsure contact details in their booking are up to date to receive notificationsRebook free of charge for tickets issued on or before February 28, 2026, with original travel dates up to March 21, 2026, for new travel up to May 15, 2026Request refunds online through the airline’s website or via their travel agent if they choose not to travelEtihad has also advised passengers that due to a surge in enquiries, its call centres are currently experiencing high call volumes, which may result in longer waiting times. Online channels recommendedPassengers seeking booking changes or refunds have been encouraged to use the airline’s online channels for faster processing.The airline reiterated that safety remains its highest priority, and services will operate only after thorough safety and operational checks.Travellers are advised to regularly check Etihad’s website for the latest updates regarding flight schedules and operational changes as the situation evolves.
