A Mumbai food video is drawing attention online after a vlogger shared his experience of a thali meal that comes with an unusually long list of dishes. The Instagram clip has prompted plenty of reactions, with viewers discussing everything from the food on the plate to the idea of such an elaborate meal.The restaurant behind the thali is Maharaja Bhog, which has several outlets across Mumbai. Here is what the vlogger was served during the meal.

What comes in the thali?

This is followed by dal kachodi and chole.The plate then gets dishes such as gatte ki sabji, paneer gravy, mixed veg, potato curry, kadhi and papad. Aamras is served as well.

Dal baati, rice and dessert

The next round brings dal baati churma, roti and puri, along with spicy accompaniments. More aamras is served with this part of the meal.After that, the vlogger is served khichdi with ghee and jeera rice.The dessert is moong dal ka halwa, accompanied by another serving of aamras.

Social media reacts

The video has received both positive and negative comments.“Only this Thali can fix my hunger,” one user wrote.Another viewer said, ‘Omg .. I wish to be there.”However, one person strongly disagreed with the praise and commented, “One of the worst Thalli ever, trust me.. it’s a waste of money.”“Mai sirf 5 recipes mein thak jaungi,” remarked another user.Some viewers also questioned the health aspect of the meal. One comment read, “Too much, even once in a blue moon such Thalis are bad to health.
