Security upgraded with 24-hour protection
Following the break-in, the couple decided to strengthen security at their residence as reported by Daily Mail website.They reportedly hired a Strongbox security team to provide round-the-clock protection and the guards are said to be stationed within the property grounds. This comes despite the home already having advanced security systems in place. A source told The Sun, “The couple asked a security firm to come in and assess the property and the suggestion was that having live-in round the clock guards would act as a great deterrent,”The source added, “Lots of footballers have private fitness coaches, chefs, drivers – and now are adding security guards to the list.”

Cheshire Police confirmed they received a report of the burglary on January 28. A spokesperson stated to the Daily Mail, “Shortly after 11.10pm on Wednesday 28 January, police received reports of a burglary at an address in Woodbrook Road, Alderley Edge.”They further added, “Officers attended and found entry had been made to the property and a number of items had been stolen.” The investigation remains ongoing and authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward.
