In a heartfelt announcement, former VIXX member Ravi has publicly acknowledged the serious allegations surrounding him, including accusations of feigning epilepsy and breaching military service regulations. After fulfilling his service obligations, he expressed profound regret for his actions, recognizing the distress they have caused to his supporters and the broader community.

Former member of VIXX, Ravi, recently made a public appearance and issued an official apology after allegations against him rose. I idol was previously accused of faking an epilepsy diagnosis, as well as violating military service law. Now, the star has reached out to netizens and fans alike and posted an official apology on his accounts.

Former VIXX member Ravi posts apology after military controversy

The allegations have been going on since 2022, when Ravi joined the military; however, it was interrupted because of the trial. He posted the apology after completing the remaining months of his mandatory military service.The letter read about how it has been a long time since he has reached out to his fans, and that he feels ashamed about everything that has happened. He added, “Throughout this process, I reflected on myself and realized how deeply ashamed I am for making excuses based on my personal circumstances and environment in hopes of receiving understanding, at a time when I should have been holding myself accountable. I also came to understand that my cowardly choice could cause harm and hurt to others.”He added that he ended his military service on December 13 last year, and has been reflecting on his actions and how much they hurt the people around him, including his fans. He concluded the letter by saying, “I would like to once again sincerely apologize to those who were hurt by my wrongful actions. Moving forward, I will continue to learn and discipline myself in order to become a better person. Thank you.”

More about the trial

In 2022, the idol was accused of illegally evading his military enlistment. At the time, allegations against the idol arose about how he had falsified medical documents to fake having epilepsy. He was indicted in court, and was charged with 1 year in priosn, and 2 years of suspension.
