At the time, a spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department in Utah confirmed to the US Weekly that there is an open “domestic assault investigation” involving the pair.Shortly after the news broke, TMZ published a 2023 video showing Paul throwing chairs at Mortensen in the presence of her daughter, one of two additional children she shares with her ex-husband, Tate Paul.
