As per the report, legal observers note that the state in which a prenup is written can significantly impact how enforceable it becomes in the future. The agreement often specify that the laws of the drafting state will apply regardless of where the couple eventually resides. The states in question include, Rhode Island, Missouri, Kansas, Tennessee and New York. However, reports suggest that California is unlikely to be considered for drafting the agreement.
