At the BAFTA 2026, Irish Actress Jessie Buckley won the Best Leading Actress for her performance as Agnes Shakespeare, the wife of William Shakespeare, in ‘Hamnet.’ Chase Infiniti and Renate Reinsve were among the six nominees, which included Rose Byrne, Kate Hudson, and Emma Stone. With this award, Jessie Buckley became the first Irish actress to win in the lead actress category.
