BLACKPINK’s upcoming album ‘GO’ has reportedly surfaced online ahead of schedule, with several tracks briefly uploaded to YouTube and quickly taken down. The early leak exposed full songwriting credits for every member of the group, but also ignited outrage when fans noticed producer Dr. Luke listed in the credits, given the serious allegations against him.

BLACKPINK’s new album ‘GO’ surfaced online ahead of its scheduled February 27 release, sparking backlash from fans and raising new questions about its production credits. Reports claim the full album leaked just hours before launch.Soon after, the musical tracks were allegedly accidentally uploaded to BLACKPINK’s official YouTube channel, along with detailed credits for each song. The title track’s credits appear to show that all four members took part in writing the lyrics.

According to Koreaboo, the uploads were quickly removed. Fans accused YG Entertainment of staging the leak as a promotional strategy, pointing to what they described as an “accidental” posting.

The controversy deepened when fans reviewed the track credits. On two songs, “Me and my” and “Champion,” one of the listed names is Dr. Luke, also known as Łukasz Gottwald. His inclusion triggered criticism across fan communities.Dr. Luke is known for producing major hits for A-list artists. In 2014, Kesha filed a lawsuit against him, seeking to end her contract and alleging he had drugged her, had sexual contact with her without her consent, and controlled her music career to her detriment. The case drew global attention and divided the music industry.Other artists, including P!nk and Kelly Clarkson, have also spoken publicly about Dr. Luke in the past. His name in the GO credits led many fans to question why he was included in the album’s production.

As screenshots of the credits spread online, criticism intensified. Many fans asked why BLACKPINK would work with a producer facing such serious allegations. Others directed their frustration at YG Entertainment, demanding an explanation.The alleged leaks and YouTube uploads have since been deleted. Neither BLACKPINK nor the company has issued a public statement addressing the leak or the producer credits.With ‘GO’ set for release on February 27, attention now shifts back to the music itself. Still, the leak and the renewed debate over Dr. Luke’s involvement continue to dominate online conversations.
