Ranbir Kapoor chose a festive look for a Durga Puja celebration at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal on Saturday evening and ended up giving fans a throwback to ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. The actor wore a red silk kurta set from a homegrown label, priced at Rs 80,000. Kapoor later joined singer Harshdeep Kaur on stage for a live performance of “Kabira” and got the crowd singing along. The look and the performance come just before the release of his film Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ which has been officially titled as ‘Ramayana: Rise of a Legend.’

Ranbir Kapoor’s red silk kurta set

Ranbir Kapoor opted for a festive ethnic look for his visit to the Durga Puja pandal. The actor wore the Abeer Kashidakari Kurta Set by Dolly J Studio, an ensemble that combined a rich red colour palette with traditional embroidery. Styled by Usaamah Siddique, the look was completed with white pyjamas, allowing the ornate kurta to remain the focal point.Priced at Rs 80,000, the outfit is crafted from rich red silk and features intricate Kashidakari embroidery that celebrates traditional craftsmanship. The detailed embellishments add texture and visual interest to the kurta, while the deep red base gives the ensemble a festive appeal.Paired with tailored trousers, the set balances elaborate detailing with a clean silhouette. Its combination of traditional embroidery and contemporary tailoring makes it suitable for festive gatherings, cultural celebrations and wedding-related occasions. For Ranbir, the red-and-gold ensemble proved to be a fitting choice for an evening centred on Durga Puja festivities.
