Players from the India took to social media to celebrate their 2026 T20 World Cup victory.The team, led by captain Suryakumar Yadav, defeated New Zealand by 96 runs in the final at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.Stars like Sryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Ishan Kishan, and Tilak Varma shared their joy and pride through posts online.

With this win, India became the first team to win the T20 World Cup at home, the first team to win back-to-back titles (after 2024), and the first team to win the tournament three times (2007, 2024, 2026).On X, the Indian T20I captain shared a throwback photo from 2014 alongside a picture with the 2026 T20 World Cup trophy, writing, “So happy for this guy today.”Tilak Varma shared his excitement on Instagram after India won the 2026 T20 World Cup. In his post, he wrote, “World Champions. My childhood dreams have come true! So proud to be part of this team and represent my country! Love this team, love you all – thanks for always having our back!”Rinku Singh shared a photo holding the trophy and captioned it, “God’s Plan. Jai Hind.”Pacer Arshdeep Singh shared a reel holding the World Cup trophy and said, “First time was so nice, we had to do it twice.”Ishan Kishan also shared a photo of the India national cricket team celebrating the victory in the final and captioned it, “This Team. C.H.A.M.P.I.O.N.S.”Opening batter Abhishek Sharma shared a photo with the trophy and wrote in the caption, “Grateful for this moment. Forever blue.”Player of the Match in the final, Sanju Samson, shared a photo of himself kissing the trophy and wrote, “Have always believed in miracles! Thanking each and every one of you for all the prayers and wishes. Let the celebrations begin. Jai Hind.”Ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah also shared a photo with the trophy and wrote in the caption, “India. Home. World Champions. Couldn’t have imagined this any better even if I tried. From dreaming of playing for India in this city to creating history here, it’s been a blessed journey. Grateful for this team, the support, the fans, and this moment.”

Mohammed Siraj also shared a photo on Instagram celebrating the team’s victory and wrote, “Still processing this moment. Seeing the trophy come home brings a lot of emotion.
