‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ has officially made history with its day 11 collections. The film enters its second Monday and day 12, today, March 30, 2026. In a stunning display of box office dominance, the Ranveer Singh starrer has surpassed the lifetime India net of its predecessor, ‘Dhurandhar Part 1’ with its Rs. 840.20 crore, in just 11 days – a feat that originally took 15 weeks. With a current domestic net of Rs. 848.55 crore and a global gross of Rs. 1,361.95 crore, the Aditya Dhar directorial is now chasing the elite Rs. 1,000 crore India net club.

‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge,’ directed by Aditya Dhar, enters day 12 of its theatrical run on Monday, March 30, 2026. With a domestic net collection of Rs. 846.87 crore after eleven days, propelled by a historic second Sunday haul of Rs. 68.10 crore on day 11, the Ranveer Singh starrer has officially surpassed the lifetime India net of its predecessor, ‘Dhurandhar Part 1,’ which stood at Rs. 840.20 crore after a full theatrical run spanning over 15 weeks. The film crossed this milestone in just 11 days. With the India gross now standing at Rs. 1011.95 crore and the worldwide gross tracking well at Rs. 1,361.95 crore, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ heads into its second Monday with the Rs. 1,000 crore domestic net, a feat that only ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ has previously achieved in Indian cinema history, firmly in its sights.Dhurandhar 2 Movie ReviewA vital data point in this run is the film’s resilience against the IPL (Indian Premier League) season. Historically, major cricket matches lead to a visible dip in evening theater occupancy. However, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has remained largely immune to it. A combination of glowing word-of-mouth and high repeat value has ensured that footfalls remain consistent even during high-stakes matches.

More about ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’

‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ is the second chapter of Aditya Dhar’s spy universe. While the first film depicted the high-stakes counter-terrorism operation led by deep-cover agent Hamza Ali Mazari, the sequel shows a gritty and emotionally complex origin story tracing how Jaskirat Singh, a Punjabi boy evolved into Hamza, India’s most lethal intelligence asset operating deep inside Pakistan. The narrative unfolds across multiple timelines and cleverly weaves real-world events including the 2014 general elections and the 2016 demonetisation into its spy-fiction framework. The antagonists feature Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Asla and Arjun Rampal as Major Iqbal. The supporting cast includes R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, Danish Pandor and Udaybir Sandhu with Yami Gautam in a key special appearance. To recreate the dense, chaotic streets of Lyari, Karachi, the production team took over Ballard Estate in South Mumbai. They redesigned entire lanes with authentic Pakistani signage and architecture. Some portions were also filmed on a massive set in Bangkok to achieve the gritty aesthetic.‘Dhurandhar 2’ was originally conceived as a single film. However, the sheer scale and narrative complexity resulted in so much footage that the makers decided to split it into a two-part duology during post-production. The film was originally conceived as a single film but its scale and narrative complexity led the makers to split it into two parts.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from diverse public and industry sources.
