Hanuman Chalisa is most sacred holy hymn or prayer which is chanted by a large number of devotees. This holy hymn is dedicated to honour Lord Hanuman and by chanting this sacred prayers, people seek blessings of Hanuman Ji. This sacred hym is written by Goswami Tulsidas Ji. It has 40 couplets or chaupai and considered as one of the most powerful prayer.It is believed that chanting Hanuman Chalisa is one of the easiest way to appease Lord Hanuman and to seek his blessings. Devotees who wants to seek blessings of Hanuman Ji, recite this on a daily basis by following some rules and correct guidelines. Hanuman Chalisa has a great religious significance and has numerous benefits from giving protection to all the devotees to removing all types of problems and obstacles and it also cures serious health ailments if chanted properly and with full devotion. While this is true, devotees can also chant in the evening since Hanuman ji is in tapasya himself of Shri Ram until sunset.2. Prior to reciting Hanuman Chalisa, always chant Ram Naam 108 times.3. While reciting the Hanuman Chalisa, keep an idol or picture of Hanuman ji in front of you.4. Light a diya with desi ghee and then start chanting.5. The Hanuman Chalisa does not require hurried reading; each word should be pronounced loudly and clearly.6. Even if you remember it, you should always read it from a book.7. Keep a glass of water close by because chanting the Chalisa is said to cause vibrations in the area around it. Once you have read and completed the Chalisa, you can consume the vibration that was absorbed by water because it is absorbent and contains memory.
