Sanjay Bangar was worried about Rohit’s not being on the field, and he felt that his experience is essential to help current captain Hardik Pandya in tough situations. On the contrary, Ambati Rayudu opined that Hardik Pandya can be left alone to lead without too much advice from veteran leaders. He opined that a captain must have the freedom to decide and that constant advice from previous captains could weaken the authority of Hardik.
