In the last 20 years, there have been a number of prominent sets of Indian richies, business tycoons and tech leaders who have not only built a real estate empire in India but have also acquired estates, and significant property holdings in the United States. Their investments not just show the wealth, but deep ties with the U.S. More recently, in 2025 Mukesh Ambani, though not Indian-American, bought a building in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City. It is valued at nearly $20 million. As per report, there are plans to redevelop the place as a luxury residence. Rakesh Gangwal — Miami MansionRakesh Gangwal is the Indian-born billionaire who is co-founder of IndiGo Airlines, owns a luxury mansion in Miami, Florida. It is one of the most exclusive residential markets in the United States.
