In a gallant but tragic operation, Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district security forces neutralized three heavily armed terrorists in a fierce gun battle that left three gallant policemen dead. The gunfight, which occurred late on Thursday night, highlights the persisting security challenges in the region and the determination of the forces to ensure peace and stability.
Operation Unfolds in Kathua
Official reports state that intelligence agencies had received reliable inputs regarding the presence of terrorists taking shelter in a residential locality close to the Kathua border.
