Mona Singh reveals advising Gaurav Gera not to talk about his ‘Dhurandhar’ role Aalam
In an interview with India Today, Mona Singh shared that Gaurav Gera was super “excited” after he landed a role in the Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dhurandhar’ movies. She said, “He was doing a project after a really long time. I think he waited for it for almost 10–15 years to break through with ‘Dhurandhar’.”The actress further stated that Gaurav even shared about his looks and the character arc in the movie. She recalled, “He was very excitedly sharing his looks and telling me about his graph, and I looked at him and was like, ‘Hello, do you remember you have signed an NDA?’ He’s like, ‘Haan, but tujhe hi toh bata raha hoon.’ I was like, ‘No, don’t do that.'”Mona Singh expressed that she told him not to share anything, as she had experience in keeping things discreet. She stated that one not only has to respect the NDAs that are signed but also “the process.”Citing the example of her first show, ‘Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahi’, she said, “My identity and everything were under wraps, and I wasn’t in a hurry to tell people that, ‘Hello, this is how I look.’ That’s not me; I wasn’t, because I knew there’s going to be a makeover, and I knew there was going to be a time when people would know who I am.”Mona Singh recalled telling Gaurav Gera, “So that’s what I was trying to tell him—calm down, hide those pictures, and do not post them anywhere.”
