Mumbai’s heritage ‘Leela’ bungalow in Juhu sold for ₹221 crore; what this landmark deal means for real estate market in the city

In a recent update, the iconic “Leela” bungalow in Juhu, an address that blends legacy, location, and scarcity, has been sold at a whopping ₹221 crore becoming one of the most-talked about property transactions of 2026 in the luxury real estate market of India.A ₹221 crore deal It is a sea-facing heritage bungalow on Juhu Tara Road close to the famous Juhu Beach. The bungalow has been sold for about ₹221 crore to Notandas Realty, backed by the Jagwani family of the Notandas Jewellers group.
