Chaitanya emphasized how domestic harmony fuels his professional achievements, with both he and Dhulipala sharing a deep passion for cinema.

Actor Naga Chaitanya is currently enjoying a special moment in his career after receiving the Best Actor award at the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards for his performance in the film ‘Thandel.’ The actor recently commented on the award he won and flattered his wife, Sobhita Dhulipala, by calling her a source of strength in his life. According to Naga Chaitanya, the joy and peace he experiences at home are often captured in pictures and his work reflects the same. He believes Sobhita has been a positive influence on his recent success.

‘Thandel’ holds a special place in Naga Chaitanya’s heart

Speaking about the film ‘Thandel,’ Naga Chaitanya explained why the project means so much to him. The film, which also stars Sai Pallavi, tells the true story of fishermen from a village in Andhra Pradesh. News 18 reported that in his words, creating Thandel Raju was arduous yet motivating. To understand the actual hardships, courage, and daily life of fishermen, he took a break from work and joined them on a fishing trip. He said that knowing their lives well helped him portray the character truthfully when bringing their stories to the audience. It was additionally gratifying to witness the Telangana government recognize his role.

Sobhita Dhulipala as his lucky charm

Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Thandel’ was much more than an ordinary movie to him, as it was the first one released after his wedding to Sobhita Dhulipala in 2024. The movie became a major blockbuster, earning over 100 crores worldwide and receiving rave reviews from audiences and critics alike. Regarding the factors leading to his success at this stage of his life, Naga Chaitanya explains that family stability and harmonious relationships are the main ingredients of his career victory. He further stated that the good mood he experiences in his home life once in a while is reflected in his films, and therefore he does not hesitate to say that his wife has brought him all the good luck.

A couple bonded by love for cinema

Naga Chaitanya added that in their house, not just he, but even Sobhita talk about films and acting most of the time. As both are film enthusiasts, the topics they discuss mostly revolve around scripts, narratives, and shifts taking place in various movie industries. He said these creative discussions help them learn from each other and stay inspired. When asked if they would act together in a film, the actor said they would definitely consider it if they found a story that excites them both. For now, Naga Chaitanya seems grateful for the balance he has found between his personal and professional life.
