Optical illusion personality test: Birds or man? What you see first reveals whether your mind is restless or guarded behind a calm exterior

Have you ever come across weird images on the internet that trick the eyes? At one moment you’ll one thing, but your friend could see something else in the same image? Well, for the unversed, these images are called optical illusion personality tests and most of the times they are based on psychological principles. And so, such images reveal a person’s hidden nature and subconscious thoughts within seconds. For example, this particular test– which was initially shared by Dasha Takisho on social media– is based on a weird image. At first glance, you’ll either be able to see a flock of birds or a man’s side face. Depending on what you notice first, the image can reveal whether your mind is restless or guarded behind a calm exterior. Interesting, isn’t it? To take this test, simply relax and look at the above picture. Now, notice what you saw first and read what it reveals about you below. Remember, there is no right or wrong answer for this test.

1. If you saw the birds first, it means…

“Your mind doesn’t rest.It moves ahead of you.Always.Future. Scenarios.“What if something goes wrong?”“What if I’m not ready?”“What if…”These thoughts don’t ask permission. They just appear — fast, sharp —and pull you into places that don’t even exist yet.Your body is here. But your mind is already somewhere else.Thinking.Predicting.Trying to control what hasn’t happened. And here’s the truth:You’re not anxious because you’re weak. You’re anxious because your mind is too activeand has nowhere to land.Too many thoughts. No anchor. So you keep flying inside your own head…and never actually land in your life,” Dasha explained in her post.

2. If you saw a man’s face first, it means…

“You learned how to look okay.Even when you’re not.Calm.Composed.In control. That’s what people see.But inside —it’s not calm. There’s tension.Noise.Pressure to hold everything together. You watch yourself.Your reactions.Your face. How you’re perceived. You don’t just feel —you manage how you’re seen while feeling it.And that’s exhausting.Because now you’re holding two things at once:What’s happening inside…and the version of you that must not show it.And over time, it creates this quiet distance:You’re there —but no one really reaches you.Not fully.Because they only see the surface you control,” she further wrote. How true was this test result for you?
