A YouTube creator from the channel Mr Like It Or Not revealed that roughly 20 minutes of unseen footage from ‘Ramayana’ was showcased to a small, select group at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. The reaction, by his account, was overwhelmingly positive. He described the visuals as grand and immersive, a sweeping combination of mythological storytelling and large-scale fantasy filmmaking. “This film can be both a true grand epic and also a spectacular fantasy story,” he said.
Warner Bros. set to distribute ‘Ramayana’ globally?
One of the biggest claims to emerge from the creator’s account is a potential global distribution deal with Warner Bros. Studios. He stated, “They just landed a big distribution here in America that will give them a big, global push. Warner Bros. Studios will be distributing this film globally.” It is important to note that neither the filmmakers nor Warner Bros. has officially confirmed this. Could ‘Ramayana’ make a run for the Oscars?
Adding to the excitement, the creator suggested the film could be positioned for a strong Academy Awards campaign. “I am pretty sure they are going to push for some Academy Awards in a bunch of different categories, especially a nomination for the International Feature Film. It’s going to fit that particular style,” he said.

Mounted on a reported budget of approximately Rs 4,000 crore, ‘Ramayana’ boasts a powerhouse ensemble.
