Eugene Levy said the idea began with Dan Levy. “It all began when Dan came to me with this idea, and his creative touch can be seen all across the show,” he shared.He added, “At its heart, the series is really about a family coming together and learning how to be a family again in such close quarters. As a father, my biggest focus in the show is trying to keep my family together through this crisis that they’re having.”Speaking about Catherine O’Hara, Eugene said, “Catherine is a really great actress, and what she brings to her role here comes from the kind of the creative position of an actress, not somebody in comedy necessarily.
