UAE traffic law rules for licence suspension
One key rule is that a licence can be suspended if a driver is found medically unfit or no longer qualified to operate the type of vehicle they are licensed for. This makes suspension a preventive measure, not just a punishment.The law also gives the Traffic Control Authority, in coordination with licensing bodies, the power to suspend a licence whenever necessary to ensure traffic safety and security.
