Industry tracker AB George reported that advance booking for ‘Vaazha 2’ is performing well. As of 4 PM on April 1, Day 1 pre-sales are nearing the 1 crore mark. The sequel to the 2024 hit ‘Vaazha’ is scheduled to release on April 2. It is set for a wide release across approximately 290 screens in Kerala as per the reports.

This is one of the highest screen counts for a film featuring mostly new faces and a first-time director in Malayalam cinema. Aju Varghese ’s interesting take
Aju Varghese, who plays a key role, shared an honest insight in a recent interview with Life Net TV YouTube channel.He said, “I don’t know the story of Vaazha. When Vipin talks in between, he would say ‘this is what I am planning for the interval.’ That’s the only familiarity I have.”Aju added that this has been his pattern for a long time. Rather than going through the entire script, he relies on brief narrations and his instincts while performing. He also spoke about his experience with ‘Sarvam Maya’, saying he understood the story only after watching the film.
