Roger “Metronade” Moore, a popular content creator known for his funny skits and gaming videos, has reportedly died at the age of 23. His family and friends shared the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post, saying that Moore died in an accident on Monday, May 11. The sudden news shocked many fans who followed his videos across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch. Metronade built a strong online community through comedy videos, anime content, gaming clips, and cinematic skits that often touched on real-life struggles. While many people knew him for making others laugh, his loved ones said he also wanted people to feel understood through his work. Over the years, he gained more than 644,000 followers on Instagram, 1.3 million followers on TikTok, and over 181,000 subscribers on YouTube.Apart from social media, Roger Moore was also a graduate of Syracuse University. According to The Daily Orange, the university’s student newspaper, he graduated in 2024 with a Film degree from the College of Visual and Performing Arts. He was also connected with Syracuse University’s Center for the Creator Economy, where he left a strong impact on students and creators around him.

In the emotional Instagram statement shared after his death, Roger Moore’s family and friends spoke about how deeply he cared about storytelling and connecting with people. They wrote, “Metronade blended his expertise in film with his passions for video games, anime, fashion, and more to showcase the highs and lows of love, work, friendship, and growing up.”The statement explained that Moore used his own personal experiences to create cinematic skits that could help others feel less alone. His family shared, “By creating cinematic skits based on his own struggles, he wanted his viewers to feel less alone in theirs. He read many of your messages and comments and deeply appreciated that he could use his work to relate to others.”His loved ones also spoke about his faith and kindness. They said, “He knew this life was fleeting, and urgently shared the word of God with all in his life, both online and in person.” The statement added that Moore strongly believed in treating others with kindness and compassion.Before ending the message, his family asked for privacy while dealing with the loss. They also revealed that Metronade still had unfinished projects and stories he hoped to share with his audience one day.Syracuse University’s Center for the Creator Economy also honored Roger Moore in a separate Instagram post. The center called him “an alumnus, artist, and friend” and said his creative journey helped shape the creator community at the university. The post described him as someone who lived with “love, compassion, and a fearless creative spirit,” adding that his presence would be remembered for years to come.
