The Beatles Museum London: New 7-storey experience to open at iconic Savile Row location

Fans of The Beatles will now be able to visit their very own museum in London! Per the latest reports, a brand-new fan experience will soon open in London, in the same space where the band had their last-ever gig. Here’s what we know about the upcoming museum so far.

The Beatles to open new museum in London

The BBC reported that the space where the group played one of their last-ever shows in London will now be turned into a museum spanning 7 floors. The space will soon open to the public so fans can explore the exhibition, trinkets, memorabilia, and archival collections that have never been displayed publicly.Paul McCartney, the bassist and keyboardist of The Beatles, also discussed the decision to create this experience for the fans. He shared that “Tourists come to England and they can go to Abbey Road, but they can’t go inside [and] it snares up the traffic, and the drivers get really annoyed. So I thought this was a terrific idea.”The space is situated in a Grade II listed mansion on 3 Savile Row. This is where the group recorded their last album, ‘Let It Be,’ together in the basement. This is also the same space where they held their last gig, making the location even more special and appropriate for the museum.

What will The Beatles museum have inside?

Few details have been shared, though the famed singer gave an overview of what to expect when you attend the opening next year. The space will recreate the very basement where their last album was recorded, and fans will also be able to visit and experience their last concert on the rooftop where it happened as well.He also added, “Well, you go in on the ground floor, and there’s memorabilia and stuff like that. Then you work your way up through the building, and [see] various things that happened here and there, until you get to the top, where you go out on the roof and pretend to be a Beatle.”The space is also planning a retail store where fans of the band can get souvenirs.

When will The Beatles museum open?

The museum will officially be called ‘The Beatles at 3 Savile Row’, and while no specific date has been revealed yet, fans can already start registering for tickets. The museum is set to open to the public sometime in 2027, and tickets for the space are already available on the group’s official website for purchase.
