Actor Hirav Mehta is gaining attention for his role in ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’. Ranveer Singh ’s energy sets the tone
Talking to Bollywood Hungama, Hirav described his first interaction with Ranveer Singh on set. He praised the actor’s vibrant personality. He said, “When I went on the set, I first met Ranveer Singh sir, and obviously, his energy is power-packed. He’s always very cheerful, and everyone’s face lights up when he enters. His energy gets transferred to everyone, but when he’s in character, he’s completely locked in,” he said.
Akshaye Khanna’s aura and focus
Hirav also spoke about working with Akshaye Khanna. He described the experience as memorable, “The way he comes on set, he has this amazing aura. He greets everyone and then instantly locks into the character.” According to Hirav, Akshaye’s calm focus stood out and his ability to switch into character impressed everyone on set.
‘Completely in the zone’ during dance
The viral Flipperachi sequence turned out to be an organic moment. Hirav revealed that Akshaye’s dance was not choreographed, “Their entry shot was done, and then we went into the tent where all the dancers were already dancing. Ranveer sir was pumping up the energy, saying, ‘Let’s go guys, let’s go!’ When it was Akshaye sir’s turn, his dance wasn’t choreographed at all. He was completely in the zone, vibing with the dancers and enjoying the moment,” he shared, adding that the rest of the actors naturally moved along with the rhythm as they entered the frame.Reflecting on the response, Hirav expressed gratitude. He said, “None of us ever imagined that this scene would break the internet among all the scenes in the film. I’m just incredibly grateful to be a part of the scene and the movie itself. Film crosses Rs 1000 crore milestone
Meanwhile, ‘Dhurandhar’ continues its strong box office run. The film has crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark globally as reported by Sacnilk. It has become one of the fastest Indian films to achieve this feat. It now stands alongside Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ in reaching the milestone.
