Chris Hemsworth and his family found themselves stranded at the airport after a mix-up that ended with the entire family being denied boarding for an international flight.Speaking with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Hemsworth explained what went wrong. “I actually went to the airport once and I had my daughter’s passport instead of my son’s passport,” he said.Hemsworth, who shares daughter India Rose, 14, and 12-year-old twin boys Sasha and Tristan with Pataky, revealed that he attempted to talk his way through security despite having the wrong passport. “They kind of look the same,” he quipped, prompting Pataky to immediately interject, “They don’t.”He recalled telling the security agent, “This is her,” only to be firmly corrected. “That’s a boy,” came the reply. “So, yeah, that didn’t work,” the Marvel star added with characteristic good humour.

Hemsworth and Pataky tied the knot in 2010 and welcomed India Rose in May 2012, followed by twins Sasha and Tristan in March 2014. Despite the experience, Hemsworth was clear about wanting his eldest to enjoy her childhood before committing to a career in the industry. “I want her to have a childhood, and I think so does she,” he told ET Online in July 2023. “I said, ‘There’s plenty of time, sweetie. Go to school, horse ride, have fun, be a kid.
