The stories are very simple, yet entertaining, and intriguing, featuring unique characters and realistic discussions and dialogues. The directors tackle many real-life issues in their movies, which is one reason many favor them. The movie created a buzz and brought a fresh experience to the Mollywood film industry.‘Manjummel Boys’ – Directed by Chidambaram, the survival drama film based on a true story has an outstanding cast including Soubin Shahir, Deepak Parambol, among others. It resonates with viewers through its strength in emotions and friendship.‘2018: Everyone is a Hero’ – The movie depicts the Kerala floods and the heroism of the people, with Tovino Thomas in the lead role. It showed the character of ordinary individuals who became heroes in the calamity.‘Aavesham’ – Fahadh Faasil’s starrer will be a colorful and energetic film full of memorable events and characters. The quirky and comic nature of the film attracted the youth. Colorful characters and direction made Jithu Madhavan’s film highly successful.‘Minnal Murali’ – Directed by Basil Joseph, the Tovino Thomas vehicle is a superhero film set in a regional Kerala backdrop. A combination of fantasy and emotion, the film had a fantasy feel.‘Aadujeevitham’ – The Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer is a fantastic survival tale. Directed by Blessy, this movie follows a man in very intense situations overseas. The movie received praise worldwide.
