Now, while promoting the Netflix crime drama, Saif has finally addressed the viral moment and explained what was actually going through his mind at the event.

Reacting to it, the actor admitted that he noticed the trend himself. “Yeah, quite a lot,” he said when told about his frequent meme moments. When asked whether the gesture was intentionally planned for publicity, Saif immediately denied it and laughed off the speculation. “No, of course not. I don’t know. Yeah, this is what, they asked me to explain it later,” he shared. “I Said Good Luck To The Movie”Explaining the now-viral gesture, Saif said he was not treating the poster as a representation of himself alone, but rather as a symbol of the entire film and the team behind it. “I said good luck to the movie. And I saw this big poster and I was like, good luck to us all,” he explained. The actor added that the action happened instinctively in the moment. “I didn’t see it as me. I saw it as a kind of team effort and a representation of the whole idea,” Saif said.Saif also hilariously recreated the exact move while talking about it and admitted that the whole thing looked rather bizarre once it went viral online. “It’s like (imitates touching the poster) and this is the main gesture (pumps fist). And there’s a little skip also, it’s absolutely mad,” he joked. His light-hearted reaction has only added to the internet’s amusement, with fans continuing to share memes and clips from the event.
