Soha Ali Khan says daughter Inaaya gives her styling advice
When asked who she goes to for styling advice, Soha hilariously revealed that her daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu has become her newest fashion consultant.“More recently, I’m going to Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. She’s really good,” Soha told Yuvaa.Taking a playful dig at husband Kunal Kemmu, she added, “As for Kunal Kemmu, I’m not going to him for advice, but I’m definitely getting advice — even when I’m not asking for it.”
‘I’ve gone to Saif Ali Khan for relationship advice ’
Speaking about honest life advice, Soha revealed that she often turns to brother Saif Ali Khan for relationship-related conversations.“It depends on what kind of advice I need. For relationship advice, I’ve gone to bhai, Saif Ali Khan, because I don’t have too many male friends anymore. He gives me a male perspective. He’s not always on Kunal’s side, but he speaks from that lens and that helps,” she shared.The actress also admitted that Kunal is her go-to person during parenting meltdowns. “He’s a good listener and a calming influence. I can be my vulnerable self with him,” she said.However, Soha joked that men often try to fix problems instead of simply listening. “Men are usually solution-oriented. Sometimes you just want to complain, and he understands that a little better now,” she laughed.
Soha says Kareena Kapoor Khan has all the gossip
When the topic shifted to gossip, Soha instantly named sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan.“Kareena Kapoor Khan, of course! She denies gossiping all the time, but she has information — the most irrelevant information about people that you’d never think she’d know,” Soha joked.“She’s incredibly observant and must be on some very special WhatsApp groups that I would love to join,” she added.For moments when she simply wants to laugh and unwind, Soha once again credited Kunal. “He’s very funny and really lightens the mood,” she said.She also shared that her best friend Niranjana is the person she turns to whenever she doubts herself. “She’s always in my corner but also gives me a reality check when needed,” Soha revealed.Interestingly, when asked who helps her plan trips, Soha named ChatGPT. “ChatGPT is the best. Also, my daughter’s friend’s mom, Neha — she’s excellent at planning trips,” she said.
‘Don’t go to a man if you just want to vent’
Soha also hilariously spoke about arguments and validation in relationships.“See, I already know that I’m right,” she laughed. “But usually Kunal eventually validates me. That’s the problematic part — it takes time for him to understand that I’m right.”When asked who she turns to when she simply wants to vent or cry without receiving solutions, Soha had a clear answer. “Don’t go to a man if you want to vent without getting solutions,” she laughed.“I usually go to my close girlfriends. There are three or four of them and they’re amazing. It’s a safe, non-judgmental space where I can say anything without filters,” she added.The actress further explained how shared experiences among women create comfort and understanding. “Whether it’s motherhood, family or children, someone has usually gone through something similar,” she said.
